042712: River recon, here we come.....
042712: Tapir Jaw, Whale tooth and Mammoth tooth all in one sq foot.
042712: found a patch of gravel 6 feet by 4 feet that produced 80 megs and horse teeth,
Mammoth teeth frags, antler and a nice piece of saber tooth cat dagger.
040212: Took my mom Sandy and sis Kim, great day out- lots of nice teeth, red, orange and tans.......
040112: The haul from camping trip.......and the best Mammoth tooth I have ever found.
033112: Lot of nice stuff, found in a reddish rock clay, all fossils were very colorful and well preserved.
033112: Found the nicest Mammoth tooth ever, lying in two feet of water in sand and in open plain site..........
on the inside edge of river- which means it laid there for thirty plus years.

033112: River camping trip, found some nice Megs and a absolutely perfect Mammoth tooth- 20+ inches long......
033012: Nice camp site, best weather, clear water, no people.

right onto a great site full of fossils and untouched- and lots of big stuff.
Found a whole cooler full of fossils........

021512: Again we dropped right in on a mammoth site, found all this in one hour.
Would have been thirty minutes but a ten foot gator decided to run right into me in the silted up water.
he made me ink myself..........

You can no longer remove artifacts from Florida rivers, so you have to go elsewhere.
But you can remove fossils with a fossil permit from the state.
